The Lanes Christmas Photoshoot

This year I was booked via my sister company Liquid Studios, for The Lanes Christmas Photoshoot, working in collaboration with Carlisle College to capture imagery to be included in Carlisle Living’s Christmas magazine.

The shoot day consisted on 6 sets, with a different Christmas look for each set.

I remember from my student days that the link between education & industry can be tricky – so it was great to be involved in a project that brought students together with retail, and the practical requirements of a real photoshoot.

The shoot was held in a studio at the college. The hair & beauty department, along with fashion & art departments were all involved in the day, which was great! I had a student stylist on hand for the day, along with a student beautician, for touching up.

The schedule for the day worked really well – with hair and make-up starting early doors, the first set to be shot was ready at 10:30. Students were able to watch progress through the viewing room, adjacent to the photography studio, and fashion students were on hand to help with wardrobe changes.
